AI in Radiology: A Boon or Burden?

The use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in radiology has become increasingly popular due to the exponential growth of medical data and the limitations of traditional methods.

As per Jasper Colin’s recent report, the market for AI in medical imaging is projected to reach $9 billion by 2027. It has been reported that AI increases radiologist efficiency by up to 12% and can detect abnormal chest X-rays up to 4 times faster.

Despite the numerous advantages, radiologists still have differing views on the use of AI.
