Qualitative deep dive seeking insights faced by Small and Medium Businesses (SMBs)
We conducted a detailed research study for a client seeking insights into the challenges and opportunities faced by small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs) in managing their suppliers, specifically focusing on the procurement to payment (P2P) side of the supplier relationship. The study aimed to uncovering how SMBs engage with suppliers, the pain points in supplier management, and how these businesses plan to evolve their practices in the next 12-18 months.

The target respondents for this buyer interview guide were small and medium business leaders who are responsible for supplier management decisions. These included decision-makers from various sectors engaged in procurement and accounts payable activities. The findings suggest that SMBs face significant challenges in supplier management, particularly around onboarding, payment terms, and credit account management. These platforms would help businesses streamline procurement processes, improve cash flow management, and enhance overall supplier relationship management.
